Georgetown Mayor Hamilton Green has said that his officers are trying to ascertain whether or not the developer is building the structure in conformity with the plan submitted to the Central Planning and Housing Authority (CPHA).Speaking to Kaieteur News yesterday, Mayor Green noted that a resident from Subryanville visited him earlier in the week in regard to the same structure being constructed.The mayor said that he has since ordered his engineers to verify if the developer is building according to the plan; and if it is found that he is not, then City Hall will immediately move to stop the construction.Mayor Green noted that City Hall is not responsible for land issues in the city, as that responsibility lies with the CPHA.
